B.S. in Nursing (RN to BSN) Online

Program Overview
Our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is offered through the School of Nursing and Health Professions in a fully online format. The BSN post-licensure degree completion program provides registered nurses (RN) with the opportunity to acquire a BSN degree with little interruption to professional or personal obligations.
We’re a transfer-friendly school. We offer resources to help you see how your previously earned credits from a community college, a four-year institution or military training will transfer to this program. The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Rowan University is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791 (www.ccneaccreditation.org).
The RN to BSN curriculum includes 120 credits and incorporates all Rowan University requirements for the degree award. Students graduating from an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) associate degree or diploma program are awarded 30 nursing credits upon matriculation into the program for all pre-licensure nursing courses. Students may transfer up to 90 credits and must fulfill general education requirements of Rowan University, either through the transfer of credits or the completion of courses at Rowan University. Additional coursework may be required, depending upon the amount of credits transferred in to Rowan. This program is offered in an online format and may be completed on a part-time basis.

- Submit an Application
- No application fee! The application fee is waived for all Rowan Online undergraduate programs.
- Graduation from an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) associate degree or diploma program
- One official transcript from all colleges attended
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Current licensure or eligibility to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New Jersey
- Current CPR Card
- Current professional resume
