TEACH

Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grants are available to students pursuing a career in teaching a high need subject area such as math, reading specialist, science, etc. Students who accept this grant must teach in a low-income school district for at least four years after graduation to earn this grant. If a student does not complete the service obligation, any TEACH Grant funds received will be converted to a Direct Unsubsidized Loan. Students must then repay this loan to the U.S. Department of Education, with interest charged from the date the TEACH Grant was disbursed.

In order to receive a TEACH Grant, applying students must sign the Agreement to Serve.
