Rowan invests in a vast range of cutting edge technologies to provide students with a more versatile learning experience. We have a campus-wide fiber optic network and WiFi access available to all students and visitors. Rowan also has smart classrooms that help professors augment the learning experience, and students have access to high-end computer labs all around campus.
We encourage you to check your email at least daily to stay up to date on campus happenings, important information and correspondence from your professors and fellow students. Rowan Mail is your electronic connection to the University community.
With your Rowan Banner number and PIN you can update or view your personal information, subscribe to the Rowan Alert system and access secure services, including registering for classes, viewing your unofficial transcript and applying for financial aid.
RowanCloud enables students, faculty, and staff to access Rowan University owned software such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and SPSS from any device, on or off campus, that is equipped with a high-speed internet connection.
This toolbox has ALL technology services available on both the Glassboro and Camden campuses of Rowan University. This consists of networking, user names, passwords, email system, telephones, computer labs, technology enhanced classrooms, Self Service, Blackboard, and more.
Rowan University offers a number of technology-enhanced classrooms in every academic building. TEC rooms are generally equipped with networked computers, various touch screen controls, ELMO Document Imaging Cameras, and various forms of media playback.
IR Training Services offers a variety of training opportunities pertaining to Adobe, Banner, Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Outlook, Word), special topic Guest Instructor sessions, MAC related topics, Bb-CE, and more.
An online learning tool, Blackboard offers students 24/7 access to their classes. Professors can use Blackboard to house essential course materials, create classroom message boards or launch a fully online or hybrid in-person/online classroom environment.
School of Osteopathic Medicine medical students use this link to access the online presence of their coursework. Blackboard can be used to simply house course materials electronically, or can be relied on more heavily to create an online classroom by faculty.
