We encourage students to meet with their advisor every semester to help ensure academic success. Advisors are assigned by each academic department. Exploratory Study majors and those seeking to change majors are advised at the University Advising Center. 

Go Profs! With our mascot Whoo RU and fellow Profs cheering on, students participate in more than a dozen collegiate, club and intramural sports. Rowan athletics has something to offer every student, no matter what the motivation or level of experience. 

An online learning tool, Blackboard offers Rowan and RowanSOM students 24/7 access to their classes. Professors can use Blackboard to house essential course materials, create classroom message boards or launch a fully online or hybrid in-person/online classroom environment

Barnes & Noble on Rowan Blvd. serves as the University bookstore and handles all textbook needs. Students can also purchase all their Rowan Profs apparel and gifts, buy school supplies, relax at Starbucks or peruse the store to find a good book. 

The Bursar’s Office handles students’ billing needs. Students can pay their tuition bill in person, online or by mail, arrange for a deferred tuition payment plan, receive student loan refund checks and add to their ‘Boro Bucks accounts

Looking for help connecting to the Rowan network or email systems, or need advice using banner, telephones, accessing web servers, computer labs, technology enhanced classrooms, Web for Students, Blackboard or anything else IT related?

The Registrar’s office helps students and alumni with their registration and records needs. Staff are available in person and by phone to answer questions about class registration, course schedules, fees, payments, grades and transcript requests.

The RowanCard is a versatile, multi-use University identification card. A swipe of the magnetic strip on the back of the card gives students access to ‘Boro Bucks to spend on- and off-campus, their meal plan, printing privileges and much more. 

Located in the heart of our Glassboro campus, the Rec Center is a 92,000-square-foot health club open to students, faculty, staff and alumni. The Rec Center also offers recreational activities, fitness programs, intramural sports and instructional classes. 

Your academic success is important to us. This communication system makes it easier for you to receive ongoing feedback about your academic progress. Our goal is to make it easier for you to connect with the resources you need to achieve success. 

Search for courses by term, specific college or department. The Section Tally lists all registration-related information for each course including start and end dates, meeting days and times, location, mode of delivery (hybrid, online, etc.) instructor, pre-requisites/restrictions, and more.

With your Rowan Banner number and PIN you can update or view your personal information, subscribe to the Rowan Alert system and access secure services, including registering for classes, viewing your unofficial transcript and applying for financial aid

Rowan SGA acts as a student voice for the campus community, serves as an outlet for student concerns, promotes student participation in campus life, and investigates solutions to various issues that affect the campus as a whole. 

Rowan University provides jobs through Federal Work Study (FWS) and Institutional Work Study (IWS) programs. Based on specific criteria, students can easily explore various opportunities to support skills and professional experience.

For a $25 fee and reasonable usage rates, join the Rowan community of car sharers. Open to all students and faculty, Zipcar is an ideal option for those who want to save money, need a “once in a while” car or simply want to be kinder to the planet.
